Methodology and corrections

How FindMyRace discovers, validates, normalizes, groups, and corrects public running results.

Deterministic publication gates

Provider lists are discovered, preserved with provenance, normalized into a common schema, and checked before import. Public race pages require at least 75 timed rows, at least 90% athlete-name coverage, plausible timing, understood distance and identity, and acceptable duplication.

What stays out

Entry lists, live snapshots, team-only tables, non-running disciplines, ambiguous identity, broken parses, and low-confidence extractions remain staged. AI extraction is not used for automatic publication.

Corrections

Each result retains its provider provenance when available. For an authoritative change, contact the timing provider first; FindMyRace can then refresh or correct its index.
